 Dear some one  You inherited your surname. You inherited your culture. You may have even inherited your church. But you cannot inherit a relationship with God. Many people know God because: Their parents knew Him Their pastor taught about Him Their church introduced Him  But have you encountered Him for yourself? "These people draw near to Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me." Matthevw 15:8 You can sound close to God and still be far from Him. There is a difference between:   Knowing about God and KNOWING GOD. One is information. The other is relationship. The sons of Eli grew up in God's house. They saw sacrifices. They saw ministry. They saw worship. Yet Scripture says they did not know the Lord. Proximity is not intimacy. (1 Samuel 2:12) Meanwhile, Samuel grew up in the same environment. But Samuel responded when God called.   Dear some one you   said it was the last time . Then it happened again. Let's be honest. Nobody accidentally falls into the same sin 100 times. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 . The sin is often the fruit. 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐓. For example: Lust may not be your biggest problem.   𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 might be. Anger may not be your  𝐁𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐁𝐋𝐄𝐌 . Unhealed wounds might be. People pleasing may not be your biggest problem. The fear of  𝐫𝐞𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 might be. Constant comparison may not be your biggest problem. 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐌𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐁𝐄. Many Christians spend years cutting off fruit. WHILE IGNORING THE ROOT . Jesus never just dealt with behavior.  He dealt with hearts. Because transformed roots produce    transformed fruit.
